Duties:
The post holder will help and support the Consultants in the Respiratory Medicine Department on their dedicated wards with their ward patients plus the outpatient clinics and bronchoscopy day case sessions.
Assessment and management of patients with long term sleep and ventilation disorders
Weaning of non-invasive ventilation and tracheostomy ventilation in the ICU/HDU/respiratory ward settings
Teaching & supervision of Junior Staff
Person Specification:
MBBS or equivalent
MD / DNB in Respiratory medicine
MRCP / Part MRCP or PLAB 1&2
Minimum 3 years full time post graduate experience
Minimum of 18 months of continuous Respiratory medicine experience
GMC registration (or eligible to secure GMC registration)
Efficiency in Teamwork and equally good communication skills
